Zsuzsanna Johan
Zsuzsanna Johan (née Olach), PhD, assistant professor (Pol. adiunkt) in the Research Centre for Language Documentation of the Institute of Linguistics and Translation Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
Between 2012 and 2014 an assistant research fellow, then in years 2014–2016 research fellow in the Turkological Research Group at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the University of Szeged (Hungary). In years 2016–2018, assistant professor at the Department of Altaic Studies, University of Szeged. Her main interests lie in comparative linguistics and language contact. She studied Turkology at the University of Szeged and holds PhD in Turkic linguistics (2012) obtained at Uppsala University (Sweden). In years 2014–2016, she carried out a research project entitled The Jewish culture and its literature among Karaims. The Song of Moses within the frame of the János Bolyai Research Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She is the author of a monograph and 14 articles.
